- The Woodlands United Methodist Church had over 400 employees, not including contracted staff. Over 125+ employees used the Shelby/Rock RMS database system, as well as the 12K+ membership using the kiosk check in stations daily, and the online registrations and payment system. The database department consisted originally of just me, but grew to three employees and six volunteers.
- Shelby V.5 database (Pre-Migration)
- Membership database cleanup: Prepare the Shelby v.5 database for upgrade, through updating demographic and contact information, contacting members for correct information, consolidation of duplicate information, removal of old organization and profiles codes, creating new organizational structure within the old system to prepare for upgrade. The Woodlands United Methodist Church had records of 12K+ membership, but over 65K records of members & prospects within the Shelby v.5 database. After clean up of records and migration into Rock RMS, the church membership had grown to 13K+, and a reduction was made of duplicate and obsolete records to 56K records.
- Database migration preparation: Interview all ministries and worship teams within the church for understanding of workflow, data collection, data dissemination, and data reporting. Assisting with design of future data workflow.
- Database Systems Team member: assess all software systems of the church and make recommendations. Moving from 24 individual data collection points to a shared main data collection system with strong workflow and reporting tools to be used by all in church.
- Training and help desk for volunteers on data entry into Shelby V.5. Six weekly volunteers in database department.

- Database Advisory Team member: On team to review recommendations by the database systems team and access the impact on all ministries of the church, which was taken to church trustees for approval.
- Post-migration, manual clean up of all record comments, updating known relationships and reconnecting family profiles, updating all fields as needed. Assist bringing over all family photos manually. Cleaning all information, both manually and through bulk updates.
