My New Jersey Family <3 – November 2022

Although it was such sad circumstances with the loss of my beloved cousin Blythe, I was so very blessed and happy to get to see my Cousin Kris, whom I have always loved so very much. It had been over a decade since we both saw each other. We have always gotten along so very well, picking up right where we leave off. I’ve always looked up to her and she has always been so very kind to me. So, it was good to get to see her on this trip. And it was so good to see everyone: my Aunt Sis, my dad’s sister; Kris, Aunt Sis’ daughter; Nadia, Kris’ daughter; and Tim, Blythe’s

P. Allen Smith Home & Garden Tour – Nov 2022

On our way up to Fayetteville for another football game, we stopped for a tour of P. Allen Smith’s home and garden named Moss Mountain Farm. We caught the last one of the season! It was a fantastic tour and I highly recommend. We not only got to see the spectacular home, which you get to see almost the entire house, but also, the amazing gardens, the drying shed, the outdoor (indoor) kitchen, the pumpkin house, and have a lovely and delicious lunch! I highly recommend it! We also could have toured the poultry farm and met P. Allen Smith, however we unfortunately did not have time. I really would like to go back in the spring when everything is in full bloom and see the daffodil fields. Another item on my bucket list.

Itty Bitty Kitty (2006-2022) The BEST Kitty Ever

This past spring (May 2022) we lost our beloved Kitty. Itty Bitty Kitty was Daisy’s kindergarten cat. The week she started kindergarten, Rudy went out of town, so I took Daisy and Dean to the mall and bought Kitty. Turns out Kitty was from a litter that my next door neighbor’s friend had, so I could have gotten him for free or much less. But, honestly I would have paid a hundred times the price, if I had known how much joy and happiness and peace he would bring to our family over the years. He lived to be 17 years old and lived a good life. We miss him greatly, but have many, many fond memories.
